Coronavirus quarantine for contact persons reduced to seven days
The quarantine period for people who have been in contact with COVID-19 persons has been reduced from two weeks to seven days. The resolution on this was adopted by the chief state sanitary doctor.
COVID-19 vaccination recommendations for cancer patients
The Ministry of Health of Russia issued updated recommendations for Covid-19 vaccination.
The Gam-COVID-Vac vaccine (Sputnik V) for prevention of COVID-19 is recommended without additional restrictions for all cancer patients who have completed antitumor treatment, regardless of the initial stage and form of the disease. According to the recommendations, vaccination should be carried out no later than 14 days before the start of a surgical operation, if it is planned.
